I've never been to a gym before? What is Personal Training like?
Some people can feel self-conscious or nervous going to a gym. The first step is the hardest! Our Personal Trainers can meet you for a coffee before your first session and walk with you into the gym if you like. You will see that there are people of all shapes and sizes that go to the gym, and the atmosphere is friendly and accepting. Once you've taken that first step, you will wonder why it took you so long to do it!
I have previous injuries or diseases that I don't want to aggravate. Should I still do personal training sessions?
Our Personal Trainers will complete a fitness assessment with you, and ensure that any program developed is individualised to your needs. If medical advice is required to complete your training plan, this will be sought.
I'm under 18 or over 80. Can I still do Personal Training?
Personal Training is fun and beneficial for anyone, no matter their age. Elevate Health and Fitness provide personalised training plans to achieve the results that you want. If you are under 18 you may be asked to have a guardian present at the first session.
What do I need to bring to a session?
You will need to wear comfortable clothing including sneakers, and bring a water bottle and a towel. For outdoor Bootcamp sessions, you may consider a hat and sunscreen.
